Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention andMt. Emily Safe Center, Union County Mt Emily, a child abuse assessment center, will expand prevention services by offering the “Make Parenting a Pleasure” (MPP) skills training program to at-risk parents in La Grande and surrounding communities. MPP is a promising practice parenting curricula offered in weekly, group-based settings that strengthens parenting skills and reduces abuse risk factors in participating families with young children.
