For More Information: Teen Parent Nurturing ProgramMid-Columbia Child & Family Center Inc Program is a school-based service, which promotes the acquisition of healthy parenting skills while teens complete high school. Serving youth in Wasco and Sherman counties, the program offers an array of support, educational, and mental health services including high school instruction in family life skills, special-interest seminars, mental health assessments/counseling for teen parents, child care, support groups for significant others to the teen, and social/recreational activities. Particular attention is paid to encouraging teens to attend community college. We offer a 2+2 program via Columbia Gorge Community College.
