Children's Justice Alliance
The Children’s Justice Alliance is the organizing entity for a variety of partner programs that provide services for children of those involved in the criminal justice system and their families. In addition to coordinating comprehensive services for children and family members, this 501(c)(3) organization provides policy leadership, makes research-based programming recommendations, offers technical assistance and training for partners, and raises funds to provide financial support for programs and research.

Community Works, Inc.
Project will offer the research-based curricula “Strengthening Families” to at-risk families in Jackson County with children 6-14 years of age. Parents learn age-appropriate child development expectations, positive parenting practices, and effective, age-appropriate disciplinary practices. Children, through integrated education groups, learn social skills, conflict resolution, impulse control and avoidance of negative peer pressure.

The Family Nurturing Center
This project seeks to expand the offerings of the Relief Nursery serving families in Jackson County. Specifically, services to children, ages 12 months to 30 months, are available through a therapeutic classroom offering in-home visitation, respite care and crisis response.

Period of Purple is an evidence-based prevention program to prevent shaken baby syndrome (SBS). The program targets infant caretakers to understand infant crying and to take appropriate steps to deal with the frustration evoked by a crying infant. The program is a collaboration of area hospitals, medical personnel and the child advocacy centers in Jackson and Josephine counties.
